Hi guys!!!
Sorry it’s taking so long. It seems like the number 13 is living up to its reputation and our 13th episode really had us stumped. Our schedules have been really hectic and it has been a great challenge trying to schedule a time where we can all be together to shoot HIT. It has taken some time before were able to get together and shoot the episode. But I’m happy to inform you all that over the weekend we were finally able to make it happen and the next episode is on its way! *Yay!*. Most probably we will have an episode out by the end of this week.
We really do apologize for the delay. Hope you guys will like this latest episode. We hope to be able to work around our busy schedules and get the show out on a more regular basis from now on. Don’t worry, we are still here and not planning to quit any time soon.
We are so grateful that you guys are still supporting the show and it really means a lot to us. We are constantly trying to get more interesting and hot topics on the show for you guys, so just keep on checking out our website for the latest updates and please do keep on sending us emails and posting your comments so we know what you guys think.
Well, that’s all for now, hope to catch you guys again really soon!
Cheers!

Happy New Year everybody. Yes, yes our site is back up and I just wanted to thank everybody for staying on with us. I checked the bandwidth report card from new year’s day and it looks promising still. We are working double time to get everything fixed so that we last a full month this time around. We really couldn’t afford the upgrade last Christmas but we’re definitely working something out this week and we’ll be posting another show soon, i would have wanted to have one up for the new year right as our bandwidth came back but December was the craziest month for all of us. I just wanted you all to know that we’re still here!
As for the tip jar, I’ll be setting something up within the week. It’s not your usual paypal tipjar but i think you can use your paypal account to donate. The only catch is that you will need to pay $3.50 (i think) to make a donation so this isn’t for small tips. According to xoom.com you’re supposed to shoulder the cost, but we feel that doesn’t sound right so we’re willing to just deduct the money from your donation. It is basically an auction payment system but it goes directly into our accoount here. So for example you want to donate $15, then just make a donation of $11.50 because they’re charging you $15 total still (3.50 for the service fee, possibly higher for larger donations). If you ask us it’s quite steep but there aren’t any other options for us in this region.
Another option we’re providing is via bank transfer. We’ll just post our account details along with everything else. Of course this too is a big hassle, but again these are our only options right now. And if you’d still be willing to help out we’d really appreciate it.
Finally as for the hosting, we plan to keep the webpage separate from the downloads directory so as we have this site up for updates as to mirrors and thinsg like that so you can still enjoy the show even if we’ve hit the limit on our main server. More updates later this week.
Cheers!
Joanna, James and Michael
Wow its been a long break. So many reasons I don’t even know where to begin. I guess what’s important is that we are here and still going strong. We’re already planning a Christmas special for the third week of December.
This week’s hot interesting topics include, Yahoo 360, Apple Trailers, and Meringo. We also take a visit the Summer Capital of the Philippines, Baguio City where I share some interesting finds.

Episode 12 is all ready for uploading but we are having bandwidth problems which believe me is a really great but at the same time painful. It is the 2nd time we’ve had to move up to a higher plan (our host won’t allow us to pay for additional bandwidth) in the last two months. Everything seems fine now but we’re on our last 54MB of bandwidth and that is not going to hold up for another day. Since we are not making money from the show we cannot afford to upgrade to the next higher plan, $75/month is way off our budgets.
Which brings me to three things.
1.) Episode 12 will have to wait till December 1 before we can post it.
2.) The site might be down on November 30
3.) We’re starting a tip jar to hopefully raise enough money to cover our growing bandwidth costs and hopefully some much neeeded equipment.
Thanks for understanding, from all of us.

A warm welcome to those who found the site when it was featured as a New & Notable podcast on the iTunes Music Store a week back. Much thanks also to those who sent some constructive criticism via email and comments, and those with some great words of encouragement as well. Apologies if we have not been able to reply to them all yet. See you all very soon.
Spent the weekend Saturday-Monday in Baguio City, the summer capital of the Philippines for a concert with my music group. Was able to shoot a short segment there. That will come out on Episode 12. Meanwhiel Episode 11 will be out very soon.

Just got back from Cebu this evening and am very exhausted. Overall in the last three days we were able to tape 2 full shows with lots of extra segments (we used up 5 full tapes). I forsee a great editing challenge ahead for me. Nonetheless no matter what happens expect a show by Tuesday as promised earlier.
Thanks for supporting the show!
We’re busy moving house this week so there will be no HIT Episode 10, at least until next Tuesday. But this comes with a bit of good news since we will be pushing through with our travel special this coming weekend. The next few episodes will be shot on the breathtaking beaches of Mactan, Cebu.
Also on next week’s show we will be presenting new segments, and FINALLY a new theme song! Stay tuned.
